Alex Dawson is a Photographer and award-winning Video Producer located in Boston, MA. His camera has led him on a journey that has spanned a wide gamut in the visual media space, including event and sport documentation, solo video production, editorial photography, and live broadcast video production. As a teenager, storytelling through the lens harmonized his interests in sports and media through his high school broadcasting program.

He began his professional visual media career in Oklahoma City when he joined the team at the Fight for the Forgotten nonprofit as an in-house director, producer, and editor of podcasts and purchasable content for virtual school assembly use during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Alex became a Visual Media Producer for the Tulsa Hawks in which he captured and delivered video packages and still images for social media content and promotional use. His comprehensive understanding and coverage of a wide variety of audio and visual media prepared him for his position at Quail Springs Baptist Church as Media Associate, where he led all visual media development for over 5 years. In this role, Alex also created informative and testimonial video content for events, from weekly services to national conferences.

Alex graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma, earning his B.A. in Photographic Arts, with minors in Documentary Film Production and Visual Media. He has received awards for his short film, Modus Operandi (2024), placing 2nd in the Short Narrative category at the 2025 OBEA Student Awards and winning an Award of Excellence at the 2025 BEA Media Arts Festival.
